WHERE DO MY KIDS GO?
At Valley Mills Christian Church (VMCC) we understand the stress of leaving your child with an unfamiliar face, and new church environment can be a little confusing and overwhelming for little ones. The Children's Ministry at VMCC understands that and desires to make your families time here is easy as possible.
We have an awesome group of volunteers. Each of our volunteers goes through an application and screening process. We hold training throughout the year so teachers can be continuing to learn how to be even more effective while caring for our young ones.
As you bring your child to class you will need a numbered tag. This tag is required when you sign your child in and out from class. In the event that your child is sick or just having a hard time adjusting, there is a visual number display on the left side of the worship auditorium, behind the platform, which will display and flash your child's number. If you should see your number on the display, simply proceed to the Children's Welcome Center or your child's classroom.
Currently, we have four zones. Nursery (Baby Zone), 2&3 year olds, 4&5 year olds and Kindergarten, and 1-6th Grade. In the Baby Zone (the nursery) is for children ages 0-2 years old. They meet in room #101 . In Kid Zone children 2-3 years old will meet in room # 104. 4 & 5's children will meet in room 106. Grade School kids meet in the Kid Zone room. If you cannot find the Zone for your child, please ask an usher or Children's Ministry volunteer for assistance.
We are here to minister not only to your children but to the parents as well. Let us know of any way we can help your family grow together in Christ.

Sometimes our younger children want to stay with their big brother or sister. All of our classes are designed to be age appropriate and would greatly benefit all children if your child attends the class he/she is designed for.
