Brian Ebersold, Children's Minister My responsibilities at VMCC are... overseeing the Children's Ministry at Valley. I am responsible for ministering to families with children from birth to 6th grade. My favorite thing about VMCC is...that I can be me (as crazy as I am) and be loved by this awesome group of people! My favorite band/music style is...no real favorite, I enjoy many styles of music from Jazz to Rock, secular and Christian. I will always enjoy Billy Joel, Harry Connick Jr., 3rd Day, or Kutless. If I could do a hobby for a living I'd...be a whitewater rafting guide or have a landscaping business. My favorite team/sport to cheer for is...GO CUBS GO! The best movie I have ever seen is...if you know me (or been in my office), you would know that I am a Star Wars freak. However, my 3 best movies I have seen are Unbreakable, The Godfather, and Schindler's List. If you want to read a good book get...12 Ordinary Men by John MacArthur or The Gas We Pass by Shinta Cho. That is the polar opposites of my library! If I had nothing to do for a day I would...sit at a beach, lake, river or stream and just listen. |

Brian and his wife, Kristina have been married since August of 1994 and have 2 children Dakota and Sydney (and a bearded dragon named "Fred"). After finishing his Associates degree in Commercial Art and Design from Vincennes University (91), he met Kristina and together they attended Cincinnati Bible College (now Cincinnati Christian University). Brian received a Bachelors Degree in Christian Ministries and Kristina received hers in Interpreting for the Deaf. Brian has served as the Children's Minister for Valley since the fall of 2006. Prior to VMCC, Brian served as the Youth Minister at First Church of Christ in Lynn, IN for 4 years. His first full time ministry was in Paoli, IN, where he served 5 years as the Youth Minister. He also spent 3 years in Brooksville, KY as the part time Youth Minister while he was in college.
Brian and Kristina like to hang out with the kids, work in the yard, go fishing, or sit in front of a fire while watching a good movie in their spare time. |
