You Matter to God, You Matter To Us.

This is the motto that we try to live by at Valley Mills. One way that we do this is to help people meet their basic needs, whether it is a need for food, clothing, comfort in bad times, or just knowing that someone cares. On this page you will find information on the outreach ministries offered by the VMCC family.

Clothes Closet

Gently used clean clothing of all sizes are accepted for Men, Women, and Children, in addition to childcare items such as strollers and high chairs. In addition to assisting those who need clothing throughout the year, the Clothes Closet workers also organize a winter coat giveaway in the fall, a toy drive and giveaway during the holiday season, and a clothing giveaway in the spring.

Food Pantry

Canned and non-perishable food items are accepted to help feed the hungry of southwest Indianapolis and the surrounding communities.

Bereavement

When a member of the VMCC family loses a loved one, the bereavement ministry visits the grieving to offer support and condolences, in addition to helping provide a meal for the family after the funeral.
